Zucchini Pasta

My little one seems to be growing tired of certain green veggies and is branching off to new ones, often completely by accident :)
Her new love is snow peas. She saw me eating it in Pad Thai and insisted on eating it! In this meal, that's the side, and good old carrots. In addition, we tried to use zucchini in the pasta sauce instead of the usual broccoli. Thankfully she enjoyed it :)

Ingredients:
1/4 zucchini
2 tsp butter
1 tsp flour (preferably whole wheat)
1/2 cup milk
Cheddar cheese (optional)
Whole wheat pasta (preferably Penne or Elbow)

Method
In pan, melt butter and then sprinkle flour.
Make sure you constantly stir it to ensure no lumps are formed.
Once mixed, pour milk into the mix.
Keep stirring until the sauce starts to thicken.
Shred the zucchini and add to the sauce and cook until tender (about 5 minutes)
Mix with pasta and serve

*snow peas boil or steam until tender.
