Masoor Pulao for toddlers


Growing up, one of my favourite dishes was Masoor Pulao. So naturally I wanted to introduce this dish to my daughter once she started to explore culinary delights. But the question was, how to eliminate the spices and salt... turns out, its way easier than I thought possible :)

Ingredients:
1 cup of brown rice
1/2 cup of red masoor daal
plain yoghurt (to taste)
1/4 pound minced meat (optional)

Method:
In two bowls, soak brown rice and the lentils, respectively, for about half an hour. Boil both separately. Combine both and eat with yoghurt.
Minced meat can also be added to this option. The minced meat can be boiled with a little bit of garlic and ginger. Alternatively, the minced meat can be cooked in a little bit of oil with garlic and ginger. When almost done, add the cooked lentils and enjoy this delicious meal!
