Pasta with Spinach Sauce
A meal with high iron value and calcium, a great mix for our little toddlers!
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons unsalted butter
1 tbsp flour
100 ml milk
1/2 cup of spinach chopped
One serving of pasta
Method:
Boil pasta and set aside. Melt the butter in the pot. Once melted, add the flour and stir. Ensure no lumps are formed. Let it cook for 30 seconds, and slowly add milk. Continue stirring and allow the milk to boil. The mixture will start to thicken. Add the spinach and allow it to cook for another 2 minutes. Puree the mixture and pour it on the pasta.
